The SHARE Benefits under the SHARE Program Benefits Terms and Conditions are available to be enjoyed by SHARE Participants who successfully registered via the SHARE Website or SHARE Mobile Application as SHARE Members with completion of all mandatory registration fields.

Only SHARE Members who received the SHARE Registration Confirmation via SMS text will be entitled to enjoy the SHARE Benefits.

    A. Qualifying Products under the SHARE Program

  1. The Qualifying Products under the SHARE Program are:
    1. Shell Helix Ultra 4L;
    2. Shell Helix HX8 4L;
    3. Shell Helix ECO 3.5L;
    4. Shell Helix HX7 (4L/6L);
    5. Shell Helix High Mileage 4L; and
    6. Shell Helix HX5 (3/4L).
  2. Purchases or sales of Qualifying Products (as the case may be) must be accurately submitted by the SHARE Members to the SHARE Platform (either via the SHARE Website or the SHARE Mobile Application) with completion of Product Code, Store Code and Vehicle Registration Number & Mileage (where relevant).
  3. Purchases of Qualifying Products by End Customers must be made from participating SHARE Outlets .
    B. SHARE Benefits for End Customers
    • The following SHARE Benefits are available to be enjoyed by End Customers of Qualifying Products subject to fulfilment of stated terms and conditions:



    C. SHARE Benefits for Other SHARE Members
    • Other SHARE Members shall enjoy a points-based Rewards Program customized in accordance with their SHARE Profile. The Rewards Program is subject to change from time to time. Total points issued under the Rewards Program shall be capped at the maximum points that can be earned from actual purchases of Qualifying Products from Shell’s Authorized Distributors.
    D. Terms and Conditions Applicable to all SHARE Benefits:

  1. The following terms and conditions apply to all SHARE Benefit Items:
    1. The SHARE Benefit Item is provided on an “As Is” basis while stocks last.
    2. The SHARE Benefit Item do not include any accessories or items that are shown in the promotional materials, as they are for illustrative purposes only.
    3. In the event of unavailability of the SHARE Benefit Item, Shell reserves the right to substitute the SHARE Benefit Item with any other gift of similar value at any time without prior notice.
    4. The SHARE Benefit Item is not exchangeable for cash, credit or kind.
    5. Shell will not be held liable for any mishaps, injuries or accidents that may occur in the redemption or use of the SHARE Benefit Item.
    6. To the fullest extent permitted by law, there are no, and Shell expressly excludes and disclaims any representations, warranties, or endorsements, express or implied, written or oral, including but not limited to, any warranty of quality, merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose in respect of the SHARE Benefit Item.
  2. Shell reserves the right at its absolute discretion to amend, delete or add to any of the SHARE Program Benefits Terms and Conditions from time to time without prior notice.
  3. These Terms and Conditions, as the same may be amended from time to time, shall prevail over any provisions or representations contained in any other promotional material advertising the SHARE Program.

  5. In the event where there is any inconsistency(ies), conflict(s), ambiguity(ies) or discrepancy(ies) between English and Bahasa Malaysia versions of these Terms and Conditions, the English version of these Terms and Conditions shall prevail.


Shell warrants to you, the vehicle owner or lessee (“you”), that we will at our option and at our expense, cover the cost to repair damage to the Covered Engine Parts (defined below in Section C) that fail or replace the Covered Engine Parts that fail to the extent that such failure is directly caused by Shell Helix Ultra,Shell Helix HX8, Shell Helix ECO, Shell Helix HX7 or Shell Helix High Mileage 15W-50 failing to provide proper lubrication to such Covered Engine Parts (“Shell Helix Engine Warranty”). In these terms and conditions, “fail” or any of its variation thereto in relation to the Covered Engine Parts means the engine part being incapable of operating, or operating with significantly reduced performance. The Shell Helix Engine Warranty is free and it includes, and is subject to, all the terms stipulated herein, including but not limited to the eligibility requirements specified in Section E.

    Important Information:
  1. Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Consumer Protection Act 1999. You are entitled for compensation for any reasonably foreseeable loss or damage caused by the defect in our product. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality. The benefits to customers given by this Shell Helix Engine Warranty are in addition to other rights and remedies under the law in relation to the Shell Helix products to which the warranty relates.
  2. Good maintenance is required for good engine performance and lubricant is only one of the components in an engine performance. The Shell Helix Engine Warranty does not imply that all engine problems are covered or that no engine maintenance is required.
  3. An engine problem can be caused by many factors and lubricant-related problems are only one of the many factors. If the engine failure is not due to the selected Shell lubricant products, your claim will be rejected and you may incur assessment costs which cannot be reimbursed (as set out in Section F below). As such, please only proceed with making a claim after due consideration as to whether the issue is due to lubricant failure.
  4. You will be liable for towing, assessment and repair costs of your vehicle (as set out in Sections E and F below). If your vehicle meets the assessment criteria and that your claim is approved as a valid claim under the Shell Helix Engine Warranty program, only then will you be reimbursed these costs, up to the applicable limits.
